Riding for Schools

As well as the lessons and courses we offer to the ‘Kids Klubbers’, we also offer riding courses for local schools, including Great Finborough and Old Buckenham Hall. The children are split into groups to suit their riding ability and come to Klub Equest once a week during the school term.

Children of all ages and riding abilities can come along and ride a variety of ponies and horses that are schooled on a regular basis. The riding lessons provide a good level of training in a friendly environment.

The horses and ponies are situated on the Finborough Hall estate in Great Finborough, near Stowmarket, and facilities include stables, a brand new riding arena and 40 acres of private riding, as well as numerous bridle paths for the more experienced riders.

All equipment is provided. All the children have to have is a pair of boots or shoes with a heel. If you wish to bring any of your own kit, then feel free but it must conform to BSI safety standards.

What we offer

We offer two options:

• individual lessons with a choice of how many lessons you would like each term.  All lessons will be for 1½ hours and will include riding and stable management.
• a term deal which includes 10 x 1½ hours riding and stable management lessons, a trip out in the first term, a free Klub Equest T Shirt in the second term, and a competition in the third term.
