Riding with Kids Klub

Whether attending Kids Klub for a day or a week (daily or residential), children have the opportunity to incorporate as much or as little horse riding and horse management at Klub Equest as they wish.

Our riding programs are designed to cater for all levels of riders and combine riding tuition, stable management and horse care.

All levels of riders have the opportunity to follow our approved lesson plans or for experienced riders who just want to have fun can hack in our woods and along the river jumping a few logs on the way

The Lessons

Individual riding lessons have a duration of 1˝ hours. These are designed for people who either want to try horse riding for the first time or would just like to include a Klub Equest lesson in their more extensive activity programme with Kids Klub.

The Course

This holiday combines the best of both worlds; 5 sessions a week at Klub Equest with the horses and the rest of the time joining in with the main Kids Klub activity camp programme. This allows children to try activities such as quads and canoeing as well as following a course with the horses. Children can attend the course as a residential or come on a daily basis.

The riding lessons include an hour of riding either in the menage or out in the woods, followed by time spent untacking and grooming the ponies. The last session of the week is a jumping competition where rosettes are awarded.

Our fully qualified staff will help with every step of your holiday from settling into you bedrooms right through to the ‘end of the week’ competition.
